Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a very smart scientist who helped us understand the universe better. He was born in Ulm, in Germany, on March 14, 1879. When he was little, his family moved to Munich. Einstein loved science and was very good at math and physics.

Einstein grew up to become a theoretical physicist. He studied in Switzerland and worked at the Swiss Patent Office in Bern. While working there, he thought about big ideas in science. In 1905, he wrote four very important papers that changed physics forever.

One of Einstein’s biggest ideas was the theory of relativity. This helped us understand how space, time, and gravity work. He also discovered that tiny bits of light, called photons, explain how light behaves. For this work, Einstein won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.

Einstein loved music, especially playing the violin. He was also interested in making the world a better place and talked about peace and helping others. In 1933, because of difficult times in Germany, Einstein moved to the United States. He worked at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.

Einstein passed away on April 18, 1955. His ideas about the universe still help scientists today. People all over the world know about Einstein because of his brilliant mind and his big discoveries.
