Greenland

Greenland is a big island between the Arctic and the Atlantic Ocean. It is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, but it has its own government called the Naalakkersuisut. Nuuk is the capital and largest city.

People have lived in Greenland for thousands of years. Most today are Inuit, and they speak the Greenlandic language. Greenland is icy and cold, with a huge ice sheet covering most of it. But life is warm and friendly along the coast.

Greenland is known for its beautiful nature. It has bright blue icebergs, tall mountains, and lots of sea animals. The people there enjoy fishing, and many work in jobs that help the environment. Greenland uses clean energy, like hydropower, to keep its lights on.

The island has many interesting places to visit, like old ruins from Norsemen and huge national parks. Children in Greenland go to school and learn about their rich culture, which mixes old Inuit traditions with new ideas.

Greenland is a special place where nature and culture come together in a land of ice and snow.
