Underwater Robots
Remotely operated underwater vehicles, or ROVs, are special machines that help people explore the deep ocean. These robots are controlled by people on ships above the water. They help us learn about the sea without putting humans in danger.
ROVs can carry cameras, lights, and tools. They can look at the sea floor, check on pipes, and even fix things far below the surface. These robots are very useful for science, industry, and many other jobs.
ROVs are made to move easily through the water. They often have arms and sensors to help them do their work. Scientists use ROVs to study sea animals and plants in their natural homes. They also help find and study old shipwrecks.
People have been using ROVs since the 1950s. They have become very important for exploring the deep sea. ROVs help us understand and take care of our oceans.
