The Republic of the Congo is surrounded by many interesting places. To the west is Gabon, to the north are Cameroon and the Central African Republic, and to the south and east is the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Cities and People
Two big cities are Brazzaville, the capital, and Pointe-Noire, a busy port town. People in the Republic of the Congo speak many languages, with French being the official one. The largest group of people is the Kongo, but there are also Teke, Mbochi, and Pygmy communities.
