Casey Dellacqua, born on February 11, 1985, is an Australian former tennis player who is now a commentator. She had great moments in singles, like reaching the semifinals at the 2012 Texas Tennis Open and 2014 Birmingham Classic, and getting to the quarterfinals at the 2014 Indian Wells Open. She also made it to the fourth round at big tournaments like the 2008 Australian Open, 2014 Australian Open, and 2014 US Open. She won 22 ITF singles titles.

Casey really shone in doubles tennis. She won seven WTA Tour doubles titles and 23 ITF doubles titles. One of her biggest achievements was winning a Grand Slam mixed-doubles title at the 2011 French Open. She reached the finals in women's doubles at all four major tournaments between 2008 and 2017 but didn’t win a title in that category. Her biggest women's doubles win was at the Premier Mandatory 2015 Madrid Open with her partner Yaroslava Shvedova. Casey’s highest singles ranking was world No. 26 in September 2014, and her best doubles ranking was No. 3 in February 2016.

Personal life

Casey Dellacqua grew up in Woodvale, Western Australia. She went to Woodvale Primary School and then Woodvale Senior High School. When she was 16, she moved to Canberra to train at the Australian Institute of Sport. She played tennis in local clubs and teams.

Dellacqua and her partner Amanda Judd have three children.

Casey Dellacqua started her tennis career by winning eleven singles and thirteen doubles titles on the ITF Circuit from 2003 to 2007, mostly in Australia. She played her first Grand Slam match at the 2007 US Open and won before losing in the second round. In 2008, she reached the fourth round of the Australian Open and played well at the French Open and Wimbledon, especially in doubles.

Her career had some tough times because of injuries, but she came back strong in 2011, winning the French Open Mixed Doubles title with Scott Lipsky.
