Karl Holmström, a Swedish ski jumper, captured in action during a competition.

Karl Holmström, also known as "Bratt-Kalle," was a Swedish ski jumper. He was born on March 21, 1925. Holmström became famous for his sport. He won a bronze medal in the individual large hill event at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo. He competed against many talented athletes and showed great skill.

Sadly, Holmström died in a road accident on June 22, 1974, when he was 49 years old. His Olympic success remains an important part of Sweden’s sporting history.
