Kyrgyzstan joined the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The Olympics happened from August 8 to August 24, 2008. Athletes from many countries, including Kyrgyzstan, competed in many sports. This was a big chance for Kyrgyzstan to show their skills and be part of a major world sports event.
