Mikkel Krause
Mikkel Munch Krause was born on October 2, 1988. He is a Danish curler from Hvidovre. Curling is a sport where players slide stones on ice toward a target area.
Mikkel has helped his team win important matches. He has brought honor to Denmark in international competitions. He was once a World Junior champion, winning a big tournament for younger athletes before becoming a professional. His skills and teamwork have made him well-known in the world of curling.
Curling career
Mikkel Krause started curling when he was young. He played for Denmark in seven World Junior Curling Championships. His first championship was in 2004, and his team finished last. Over time, the team got better. In 2009, they won the gold medal. In 2010, his last year as a junior, they finished eighth.
In 2010, Krause joined the Danish men's team. He helped them win a silver medal at the European Curling Championships. In 2018, he led the Danish team to victory at the European Championship C Division. In 2019, he led the team again at the European Championships. Krause played in the World Men's Curling Championships in 2021. He also played in the 2014 European Mixed Curling Championship, where his team won their group but lost in the quarterfinals.
Personal life
Mikkel Krause works as a forwarder or courier. He is the son of Malene Krause, who competed in the Winter Olympics and won bronze medals at world championships. He is also the son of Gert Larsen, who won many times in Danish men's competitions and also competed in the Winter Olympics.
