Mons Røisland

Mons Røisland, born on January 28, 1997, is a talented Norwegian snowboarder. He is known for his great performances in big competitions around the world.
He won a bronze medal in slopestyle at Winter X Games XX, showing his skill and quick moves on the snow.
Røisland has been in many big events. He came 20th in the big air event at the 2017 World Championships. He also came 12th in the slopestyle event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. His hard work helped him win a silver medal in the Big Air event at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
He kept doing well. He came 4th in slopestyle and 2nd in big air at the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia. His strong results in both slopestyle and big air show his skill and flexibility in snowboarding.
Career
Mons Røisland began snowboarding when he was eight years old during a trip to Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, and he loved it right away.
He has achieved many great results in his career. Some of his highlights include winning 3rd place in slopestyle at the 2016 X Games Aspen, becoming the 2015 WSF World Rookie Champion, and securing 1st place at the 2015 Red Bull Nanshan Open. More recently, he earned 2nd place in snowboarding slopestyle at the 2020 X Games in Aspen, Colorado, and placed 3rd at the 2019 X Games. He also won 1st place in the 2019 World Cup in Kreischberg, Austria, and was a finalist in snowboarding slopestyle at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Røisland admires Aleksander Østreng as his favorite Team Norway rider. He plans to keep riding his snowboard for fun after his career.
