Stefan Schörghuber

Stefan Schörghuber (6 July 1961 – 25 November 2008) was a German businessman. He owned the Schörghuber Unternehmensgruppe in Munich, Germany. After his father Josef died in 1995, Stefan took over the business. He helped the business grow. It works in many areas, like drinks, building, property, aircraft leasing, and hotels.

In 2006, experts at Forbes said his wealth was about US$2.8 billion. This put him at number 245 on the List of Billionaires. Later, his wealth grew to about US$ 3.5 billion, moving him to number 307 on that list.

Stefan Schörghuber was married to Alexandra and had three children. They helped support a charity called the “Josef-Schörghuber-Stiftung für Münchner Kinder.” The charity helps children and families in need in Munich. He also worked with Konrad Bernheimer to build a special collection of important old paintings known as the Schloss Fuschl Collection.
