UCSI University, Sarawak Campus

UCSI University, Sarawak Campus is a branch of the UCSI University, a private university in Sarawak, Malaysia.

This campus offers studies in hospitality and management, business and information science, and pre-university programs.

Over 500 students learn and grow here, making it an important place for education in the region.

History

UCSI University began in 1986 as the Canadian Institute of Computer Studies. It changed names a few times before becoming UCSI University in 2008. Today, it has four campuses, including one in Sarawak.

The Sarawak Campus is in Kuching. It offers studies in hospitality, tourism, business, and more. The campus works with top hotels and tourism groups to help students prepare for their future jobs. There are three main areas of study: Hospitality and Tourism, Business and Information Science, and Pre-University programs. There are also plans to build a new campus and hotel in Kuching to support the tourism industry.

Co-Operative Education Training Programme

UCSI University has a special program called the Co-Operative Education Training Programme. It started in 2004 and works with more than 700 companies. This program helps students get real job experience while they are studying. Every year, students spend time working with these companies. The university also helps students find part-time jobs in the hospitality and tourism industries.
