Västmanland County
Västmanland County (Swedish: Västmanlands län) is a county or län in central Sweden. It is surrounded by several other counties, including Södermanland, Örebro, Gävleborg, Dalarna, and Uppsala. The county also touches the waters of Mälaren, which is Sweden's third largest lake.
This area has a rich history and many interesting places to visit. It plays an important role in Sweden's geography and culture, making it a fascinating place to learn about.

Västmanland County is in central Sweden. It borders Södermanland, Örebro, Gävleborg, Dalarna, and Uppsala. The county also touches Mälaren, Sweden's third largest lake.
Administration
The County Administrative Board helps carry out the plans made by the Riksdag and the Government. It tries to bring together the interests of the county, help it grow, set goals for the area, and make sure every case is handled fairly. Politics
The County Council of Västmanland, also called Landstinget Västmanland, helps with health and public services in the area.

Heraldry

Västmanland County has a special symbol called a coat of arms. It comes from the area known as the province of Västmanland. When this symbol is shown with a royal crown, it stands for the County Administrative Board.
Sports
Football in the county is managed by the Västmanlands Fotbollförbund. Bandy is a popular sport, and Västerås SK is one of Sweden's best teams. Some Bandy World Championship finals have been held in Västerås.
