Vest (development region)
Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
Vest, which means "West" in English, is a development region in Romania. It was created in 1998 to help plan and support growth in the area. Like other development regions in Romania, Vest does not have its own government or leaders. Instead, it works to organize projects that improve the region and to handle money received from the European Union to help with these efforts. This makes Vest important for bringing resources and opportunities to the western part of the country.
Counties
The Vest region in Romania has four counties. They are Arad, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara, and Timiș.
