Annamitella
Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience
Annamitella is a group of ancient sea creatures called trilobites. Trilobites were special types of animals that lived in the oceans long ago. They had hard shells and were part of a bigger group known as arthropods, which today includes animals like spiders and crabs.
Annamitella lived during a time called the Ordovician Period. This was a very long time ago, between 478.6 and 460.9 million years back. During this time, the Earth had many different kinds of sea life, and Annamitella was one of them.
Scientists found fossils of Annamitella, which help us learn about what the world was like millions of years ago. Studying these fossils helps us understand how life in the oceans changed over time and how these ancient animals lived and grew.
Distribution
Annamitella has been found in many places around the world. It has been seen in formations in Argentina, Australia, China, and Kazakhstan.
