A large stadium used during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

The Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium is a large indoor arena that can hold up to 5,000 people. It is located on the campus of the Beijing Institute of Technology in Beijing, China. This special building was used for important sporting events. During the 2008 Summer Olympics, it hosted the volleyball competitions, where athletes from around the world competed. Later, at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, the same arena was used for the goalball competition, a sport designed for athletes with visual impairments. The gymnasium remains an important part of the campus and a memory of those exciting Olympic games.
