Boeing Global Services

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is a part of the Boeing Company. It helps people who buy airplanes or defense equipment by fixing and updating the machines they already own. BGS started on July 1, 2017, and has its main office in Plano, Texas.

In 2023, BGS made a lot of money—more than $19 billion! This is especially important because the other parts of Boeing were losing money at that time. About 60% of BGS’s work is with airplanes for companies, and 40% is with military customers.

BGS does many things, like fixing airplanes, changing passenger planes into cargo planes, giving out parts, and creating new technology. Even though BGS is very successful, some customers have been unhappy because they had to wait a long time to get parts and the parts cost more money.
