Ceraurinella is an ancient group of small sea creatures called trilobites. These tiny animals lived millions of years ago and had hard shells to protect themselves. They belonged to a family known as Cheiruridae, which includes many similar trilobites.

Scientists have found and described about 19 different types, or species, of Ceraurinella. Studying these fossils helps us learn about the oceans and life from long ago. Even though they are no longer alive today, trilobites like Ceraurinella give us clues about how life on Earth has changed over time.

Species

There are 19 known species that belong to the genus Ceraurinella. These species include Ceraurinella arctica, Ceraurinella brevispina, Ceraurinella buttsi, and many more. Each of these species was identified by different scientists over many years.
