Condé Nast Traveller

Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience

Condé Nast Traveller is a British travel magazine published by Condé Nast. It focuses on travel for readers who enjoy high-end and unique experiences. The magazine offers stories and tips about different places to visit and explore.

The magazine is different from its American version, called Condé Nast Traveler, mainly because of the spelling of its name and some special content made just for people in the UK. Some parts of the American edition are changed to better fit British readers.

History

Condé Nast Traveller started in 1997, with Sarah Miller as its first editor. As of 2025, Divia Thani is the Editorial Director and Simon Leadsford is the Publishing Director.

In August 2018, the UK and US versions of the magazine were united under one editorial team led by Thani.

Awards

Condé Nast Traveller holds several special awards each year. These include the Readers' Awards, Readers' Spa Awards, the Gold List for luxury hotels, and the Hot List for new and exciting hotels. The magazine has also given out Innovation and Design Awards for great work in travel and design. Famous people such as Paul Smith, Anish Kapoor, and Richard Rogers have attended these events.

By 2007, the magazine had won many awards, including the PPA Consumer Lifestyle Magazine of the Year.
