Ethnic groups
The people of Vanuatu come from different backgrounds. Most, about 97.6%, are called Ni-Vanuatu. Another 1.1% are part Ni-Vanuatu, and 1.3% belong to other groups.
Languages

Religions

Around 12% of people are Roman Catholic, and about 4% still hold onto customary beliefs, which can include practices like the Jon Frum movement. A smaller number of people follow other religions or have no specific religious affiliation.
