The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs were connected to the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings for their whole time in the league.

In their final AHL season, the Monarchs won the Calder Cup, which was their only big championship.

Later, for the 2015โ€“16 season, the Monarchs switched places with another team. The AHL team moved to Ontario, California, and became the new Ontario Reign. The team that used to be in the ECHL, called the Ontario Reign, moved to New Hampshire and kept the name Manchester Monarchs.
