Nambeetella

Nambeetella is an extinct genus of fossil marine arthropods called trilobites. These small, ancient sea creatures lived a very long time ago during the early part of the Arenig stage in the Ordovician Period. The Arenig stage was a special time in Earth's history, known as a faunal stage, that lasted from about 478 to 471 million years ago. Studying Nambeetella and other trilobites helps scientists learn about the oceans and life from that distant time.
