Northeast Africa, also called Northeastern Africa, is a region between North Africa and East Africa. It includes the Horn of Africa with countries like Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia, as well as Sudan, South Sudan, Libya, and Egypt.

This area has a very long history. Fossils from early hominids to modern human have been found there. It is also a very interesting place because many different cultures and languages live there. The region lies on an important trade route that connects many parts of the world.
