Andy Rubin
Andy Rubin is a smart man who loves computers and making new things. He was born on March 13, 1963, and grew up in Chappaqua, New York. He went to school there and later learned a lot about computer science at Utica College in Utica, New York.
Andy Rubin started many interesting companies. In 1999, he made Danger Inc., which made special phones. Later, Google bought another company he started called Android Inc. in 2005. He helped make the Android operating system, which is used on many phones today.
After leaving Google in 2014, Andy started Playground Global to help new technology ideas grow. He also helped begin Essential Products, a phone company. Andy Rubin is remembered for his clever work in making technology better for everyone.
