Welcome to Antalya

Antalya is a big, sunny city in Turkey. It is right on the coast, with beautiful beaches and warm weather all year. Many people from all over the world visit Antalya to relax and have fun in the sun.

A City With History

Long ago, around 200 BC, a king named Attalus II started a city called Attaleia. Today, we call it Antalya. Over many years, many different people lived there, like the Romans and the Ottomans. You can still see old buildings from those times, like Hadrian's Gate, which looks very grand.

Fun Things to Do

Antalya has many places to explore. You can walk around the old part of the city called Kaleiçi, where narrow streets lead to old shops and cafes. The city also has lovely parks and waterfalls, like the Düden Waterfalls, where you can watch water splash down from high up.

Enjoy the Sunshine

Antalya has a warm Mediterranean climate. The summers are hot and dry, and the winters are mild and rainy. The city gets lots of sunshine, making it a perfect place to visit when you want to play on the beach or relax in the sun.

Antalya is known as the "capital of tourism" in Turkey because so many people love to visit here. With its history, beaches, and warm weather, Antalya is a wonderful place to discover!
