Batman

Batman is a famous superhero from comic books made by DC Comics. He was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane in 1939. Batman’s real name is Bruce Wayne, and he lives in a made-up city called Gotham City.

When Bruce Wayne was a little boy, something very sad happened to his parents. This made him want to help keep Gotham City safe. He wears a special bat-shaped costume and uses his smart mind, strong body, and cool gadgets to fight bad guys. Batman does not have superpowers, but he is very clever and strong.

Batman has many friends who help him, like his loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth and police friend James Gordon. He also has helpers called sidekicks, such as Robin and Batgirl. Sometimes, he works with other heroes like the Justice League.

Batman has appeared in many comic books, TV shows, and movies over the years. Famous actors like Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, and Robert Pattinson have played Batman on screen. In September 2024, Batman became the first superhero to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Batman uses many cool gadgets and vehicles, like the Batmobile, to fight crime. His secret headquarters is called the Batcave, where he keeps all his tools and equipment. Even though he faces many tricky villains, Batman always works hard to protect Gotham City and its people.
