The Beautiful Bavarian Alps

The Bavarian Alps are stunning mountains in Germany. They are part of a big group called the Northern Limestone Alps and sit in the state of Bavaria. These mountains are famous for their tall peaks, deep valleys, and sparkling lakes.

The highest mountain in the Bavarian Alps—and all of Germany—is the Zugspitze. It stands very tall and even has small glaciers. The Bavarian Alps are a special place that helps us remember Germany’s natural beauty and rich culture.
