The Cisuralian was an early time in Earth's history. It is also called the Early Permian. It came after the Pennsylvanian time and before the Guadalupian time.

The name Cisuralian comes from the western slopes of the Ural Mountains in Russia and Kazakhstan. This time was about 298.9 million to 274.4 million years ago.

During the Cisuralian, the world looked very different. Big landmasses were moving together to form a huge supercontinent called Pangea. The climate was warm and stable.

Many interesting things happened in the Cisuralian. For the first time, tiny creatures called beetles and flies appeared. This was an important moment for insects. The land had plants like ferns and other green growth.

The Cisuralian helps us understand how life on Earth changed and grew. It was a time when new animals and plants began to appear, shaping the world for millions of years to come.
