The Congo Basin

The Congo Basin is a huge area in Central Africa. It is home to some of the largest tropical rainforests in the world. These forests are very important for our planet because they help clean the air.

People have lived in the Congo Basin for a very long time. Today, many families depend on the forests for their daily lives. The area is also special because it has eight sites on the World Heritage List.

The Congo Basin is a wonderful place full of nature and life. It is important to protect these forests so they can keep helping our Earth.
