Corsica is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the 18 regions of France. Corsica is the fourth-largest island in the Mediterranean. It sits southeast of the French mainland, west of the Italian Peninsula, and north of the island of Sardinia.

Corsica is a special part of France. Its capital city is Ajaccio. Do you know who was born there? The famous leader Napoleon Bonaparte! Corsica has a rich history.
