Ecosystem

What is an Ecosystem?
An ecosystem is a special group where living things and their world work together. This includes plants, animals, tiny bugs, and also things like soil, water, and air. All these parts are connected, like a big, friendly team.
Plants use sunlight to make food in a process called photosynthesis. Animals eat plants or other animals, which helps move energy through the ecosystem. Even when plants and animals die, they help the soil stay healthy.
Why Ecosystems Matter
Ecosystems are important because they give us many things we need, like clean water, food, and even medicines from medicinal plants. They help keep our air fresh and our soil strong.
Scientists study ecosystems to learn how they work and how to protect them. By taking care of these special places, we help keep our planet healthy and beautiful.
