The European Union Agency for the Space Programme

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme, or EUSPA, is a special group that helps Europe use space for many important things. It started in 2004 and got its name EUSPA in 2021. EUSPA works from its main office in Prague, which is in the Czech Republic.

EUSPA looks after special space programs like Galileo and EGNOS. These programs help people find their way, just like GPS but made by Europe. EUSPA helps make sure these programs work well and share news with everyone.

EUSPA also works with other places in Europe. One important place is in Madrid, Spain. Here, the European GNSS Service Centre helps people who use the Galileo system. There are also offices in France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany. All these places help Europe stay strong in space technology.
