Fertilia is a small, friendly village on the beautiful island of Sardinia. It is part of the bigger town of Alghero in Italy. Fertilia is a special place where people from different parts of Italy came to live together.

The village was started in the 1930s by the Italian government. People from places like Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia moved there. Many still remember their old homes and traditions.

Fertilia is known for its simple, pretty buildings made from pink stone. The village has a lovely church called San Marco. It has a tall bell tower and beautiful artwork inside. There is also an old bridge near a pond called Calich. People enjoy visiting these places and learning about the village’s history.
