What is Google Search?

Google Search is a special tool made by the company Google. It helps people find information quickly. You can type words or questions on a website page or in an app on your computer or phone. Google looks through millions of websites to find the best answers for you.

Google Search was created in 1996 by three friends: Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Scott Hassan. They started it in a garage in Menlo Park. Today, Google Search is the most visited website in the world. Many people use it every day to learn about many things.

How Does Google Search Work?

Google Search uses special rules called algorithms to find the most helpful websites. These rules help Google decide which pages to show you. Sometimes, you might see a part called "Sponsored result". This shows ads that companies pay for.

Google also has a feature called "AI Overviews". This gives quick answers to your questions using clever computer programs. It can make learning fun and easy.

Fun Things About Google Search

Google Search has many useful tools. You can search for pictures with Google Images, find news stories, and even look at maps. There are also special pictures called "Google Doodle" that celebrate special days or important people. Clicking on a Doodle shows search results about that topic.

Google Search makes it easy to find information about almost anything you are curious about. It helps us learn and explore in a fun way!
