Grass

Grass is a type of plant that grows all around the world. There are many kinds of grass, but the most common ones are called true grasses. You can see grass in lawns, parks, and big fields.

People love grass because it makes nice, green places to play. Many kids enjoy running, jumping, or playing games like lawn tennis on grassy areas. Some sports fields even use artificial grass so they stay green and soft all the time.

Grass is also important for food. Crops like rice, wheat, and maize are types of grass that people grow to eat. Without grass, we would not have many of our favorite foods!

Sometimes, grass is used in fun ways, like in computer games and funny internet jokes. One old computer language was even named after grass!
