Welcome to Hefei

Hefei is the capital of Anhui province in China. It is a big city with over nine million people. Hefei is a busy place where people work, learn, and enjoy life.

Hefei is in the middle of Anhui, close to beautiful Chao Lake. The area has been important for a very long time, since the days of old kings and queens. Today, Hefei is full of tall buildings and places where scientists work.

One of the most famous places in Hefei is the University of Science and Technology of China. Many smart students and teachers work there, making new discoveries that help the world. Hefei is known for being very good at science and learning.

Hefei has four seasons. The weather is warm and rainy in summer, and cold and quiet in winter. Sometimes it even snows!

The city has many places to see, like parks and old houses. Chao Lake is a big, beautiful lake where people like to boat and fish. Hefei is a friendly city with lots of fun things to do and see.
