The Hippocratic Oath
The Hippocratic Oath is a special promise that many doctors make. It helps them remember to always care for people in a kind and safe way. This promise comes from very old times in Ancient Greece.
When doctors say this oath, they promise to work hard to help people who are sick. They also promise to keep private information about their patients safe. This helps build trust between doctors and the people they care for.
Even though the original oath is very old, many doctors today still think about its ideas when they start working. It reminds them to always try their best for their patients and to do what is kind and helpful. The Hippocratic Oath is important because it teaches doctors to treat everyone with respect and care.
