Hundred Years' War
Adapted from Wikipedia · Explorer experience
The Hundred Years’ War was a long time when two countries, England and France, had big arguments. It started in 1337 and went on for about 116 years. The arguments began because of land and who should be the king of France.
Leaders from both countries wanted to be in charge. This time was hard for many people, but it also helped change how countries worked and fought.
France is a beautiful country in Western Europe. It was a very important place during the war. Many battles happened there, and leaders from both sides tried to control it.
One important person was Joan of Arc. She was a young woman who helped France during a very tough time. Because of her and others, France became stronger.
The war ended in 1453. France kept most of its land, and England lost many of the places they once held. This long time of arguing helped both countries grow and change in many ways.
