Lebanon is a beautiful country in West Asia. It is nestled between Syria to the north and east, Israel to the south, and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea to the west. The capital city is Beirut, a busy and lively place full of history and stories.
Long ago, Lebanon was home to the clever Phoenicians. These seafaring people were famous for their smart trading and creating the first alphabet, which helped people write and share ideas. Lebanon has stunning mountains and sunny beaches. In the winter, people can ski on the snowy peaks, and in the summer, they enjoy swimming in the warm sea. The country is also known for its beautiful forests, especially the famous Cedar trees, which are a symbol of Lebanon.
Lebanon’s cities are full of life, with markets, cafes, and historic sites. The Beirut Central District shows off modern skyscrapers next to ancient ruins. Lebanon’s people are friendly and proud of their rich heritage, making it a wonderful place to visit and learn about different ways of life.
