A Green Place Full of Plants

The Leipzig Botanical Garden is a lovely garden in Leipzig, Germany. It is very old, started in 1542, and is the oldest garden for plants in all of Germany. You can visit it every day, and it is free!

Many Plants From Around the World

This garden has about 7,000 different kinds of plants. They come from many places, like warm tropical areas and cold mountain regions. There are special glass houses with warm plants and outside areas with plants from steppes, forests, prairies, and alpine spots.

A Place to Learn and Explore

After a difficult time during World War II, the garden was built again. Now it is a fun place for everyone to walk, look at plants, and learn about nature. The garden helps people understand and care for plants from all over the world.
