Maros is a friendly town in South Sulawesi, a part of Indonesia. It sits close to the busy city of Makassar and is the main town of the Maros Regency area.

One special place in Maros is the Maros Water Park. Here, families can have fun swimming and enjoying water games together.

Near Maros, there are amazing caves like the Pettakere cave. Inside these caves, there are old rock drawings made a very long time ago. These drawings help scientists learn about people who lived in the past in prehistoric times in these caves.
