Melbourn has a pretty high street with shops and places to visit. The A10 road goes around it, making it easy to travel to nearby towns. Melbourn is not the same as the famous city of Melbourne in Australia.

The village has a long history. People have lived there since very old times. There is a beautiful church called All Saints, and it has parts that are very old. Melbourn also has schools, a science park, and places like shops, hair salons, and pubs where people can meet and talk.
