Morrison, Colorado

Morrison is a small, quiet town in Jefferson County, Colorado. It is part of the United States. Only about 400 people live there, but it is close to big places like Denver.

The town was named after George Morrison, who came from Canada in 1859. He built many stone buildings, some of which are still standing today. Near Morrison, important dinosaur fossils were found a long time ago.

Morrison is a peaceful place. It is about 20 miles from Denver and you can drive there using State Highway 470. The town has its own mayor and a small group of leaders who help run it.

Many famous people have lived in Morrison. Some of them worked in movies, like Trey Parker, who helped create South Park. Others were writers, singers, or leaders in different cities.
