Moscow Zoo

The Moscow Zoo is a big, fun place where you can see many animals from all over the world. It is one of the largest zoos in Russia and one of the oldest in Europe. Families and school groups love to visit here.

The zoo started in 1864 by teachers from the Moscow State University. Today, it has more than 7,500 animals from about 1,000 different species. It covers 21.5 hectares, which is about 53 acres of beautiful land.

There is also a Moscow Zoo Museum. It opened in 2008 and is in a very old building. Inside, you can see many interesting things about the zoo's history and nature. The museum has over 10,000 zoo logos from around the world.

The Moscow Zoo has a special learning center where people can study how to take care of animals and teach others. It is a happy place where everyone can learn and have fun with animals.
