Moses

Moses was a very important teacher in many religions, like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. People remember him for helping the Israelites leave a place called Egypt where they were not free.

Moses was born at a time when a leader in Egypt wanted to hurt Hebrew baby boys. His mother hid him, and he was found and raised by the daughter of the leader in Egypt. When Moses grew up, he decided to help his people.

God told Moses to go back to Egypt and ask the leader to let the Israelites go. With his brother Aaron, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. They walked through the Red Sea Crossing to safety and traveled for many years in a dry place called the desert. Moses gave his people important rules called the Ten Commandments.

Moses is remembered as a wise leader and teacher. Many stories, paintings, and movies have been made about him. He is a special figure in many religions and cultures around the world.
