The National Basketball Association (NBA) is a big basketball league in North America. It has 30 teams, with 29 in the United States and 1 in Canada. People love to watch NBA games because they are exciting and full of skilled players.

The NBA started on August 3, 1949, when two basketball leagues joined together. The league’s offices are in New York City and Secaucus, New Jersey. Today, the NBA is one of the biggest sports leagues in the world.
