Oranges are a type of round, juicy fruit that many people enjoy. They grow on small, green trees and are loved all around the world.

Oranges come from warm places like Southern China, Northeast India, and Myanmar. People have been eating them for thousands of years! Today, orange trees grow in many warm areas, such as Brazil, India, and the United States.

An orange is special because it is made by mixing two other fruits: the pomelo and the mandarin orange. This happened a long time ago in places like Southern China. Even though oranges look simple, they are very interesting because of their mixed origins.

You can eat oranges fresh, squeeze them for juicy orange juice, or use their peel for its lovely smell. Oranges are full of vitamin C, which helps keep our bodies healthy. They are also used to make marmalade in many countries.

Oranges appear in art and stories because they are beautiful and tasty. Artists like Vincent van Gogh painted oranges, showing how special they are. Oranges have been enjoyed by people for a very long time and continue to be a favorite fruit around the world.
