The Peshawar Museum

The Peshawar Museum is a special place in the city of Peshawar. Peshawar is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. This museum holds many beautiful and old things that tell stories from long ago.

The museum has many artworks from a place called Gandhara. You can see lovely statues and other objects that help us learn about people who lived many years ago. It is a wonderful place to visit if you love history and art.

The Peshawar Museum was started in 1907 and was first called “Victoria Hall” to honor Queen Victoria. The building looks interesting because it mixes many different styles. Inside, there are many rooms filled with special items.

You can see old coins, beautiful sculptures, and even old pieces of writing. One of the biggest and most famous items is a huge Buddha statue found many years ago. The museum also has things from different times, like the Mughal and Persian periods, showing how people lived and created beautiful things long ago.
