Realm

What Is a Realm?
A realm is a special place ruled by a leader, like a king or queen. It is often a country where a ruler governs the land and its people. Long ago, many big empires had smaller realms inside them, each with its own ruler.
Where Do We See Realms?
You can find realms in places like the United Kingdom. The word "realm" helps us talk about countries led by rulers without saying the same words over and over. Some countries, like the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, are also called realms even if their leader is not a king.
Fun Uses of "Realm"
Sometimes, we use "realm" to talk about areas where someone is very good. For example, we might say a writer’s realm is storytelling, meaning they are great at it. We can even say a lion’s realm is the jungle, where lions live and play.
