Who is Ronald Wayne?

Ronald Wayne is a retired American business person who helped start a very important company. He was born on May 17, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio. When he was young, he learned to draw technical designs at the School of Industrial Art High School in New York City.

Helping to Start Apple

In 1976, Ronald met two friends, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. Together, they created a new company called the Apple Computer Company. Ronald’s job was to handle the papers and keep things organized for the new business. He even made the first Apple logo.

Even though he was an important part of starting Apple, he left the company very early. Today, Apple makes many of the gadgets we use every day, and it all began with the ideas of people like Ronald, Steve, and Wozniak.

Where He Lives Now

Ronald Wayne now lives in Pahrump, Nevada. He has written books about his experiences and even appeared in a documentary.
