Seneca the Younger
Seneca was a wise writer and thinker from Ancient Rome. He was born in Córdoba, a lovely city in Hispania. As a boy, he grew up in Rome and learned many things like speaking, writing, and philosophy.
Seneca loved to write. He wrote 124 letters and many books about how to live a good life. He followed a way of thinking called Stoicism, which teaches people to stay calm and strong even when things are hard.
When a young boy named Nero became a leader, Seneca helped him make important choices. Even though life was sometimes tricky, Seneca spent his time writing useful ideas that people still read and learn from today.
Seneca also wrote exciting plays based on old stories. His play called Medea is very famous. Many writers from long ago liked his work, and people still enjoy his stories and ideas.
